4. WHY ARE MY DATA USED AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?
Purposes based on the contractual or pre-contractual relationship
• Selection processes of the Térvalis Group.
We will use the data provided through the application form for a job offer for the development, implementation and management of the personnel selection process carried out in companies of the Térvalis Group. We will contact you to inform you of any steps related to the selection process. The legal basis for this is your request for pre-contractual measures (Art. 6b GDPR).
We will communicate your data to the Térvalis Group entity that offers the job you choose, and that promotes the personnel selection process.
If your application is accepted, your data will become part of the employment file as an employee, based on the employment relationship.
Purposes based on a legitimate interest

We have a legitimate interest in activating the necessary mechanisms to prevent potential fraud against you and us in recruitment processes. This allows us to take steps to protect you against fraud attempts by third parties.

We will use the personal data you provide on the registration form, as well as those contained in your CV, to register you on our job exchange. Your registration and the resulting communications about employee offers will be based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6a GDPR)
We will communicate your data to entities of the Térvalis Group that promote personnel selection processes to which you may opt.
We inform you that we do NOT make automated decisions based on the information you provide. If there are any changes in the future, we will ask for your prior consent.
WHAT KIND OF DATA WILL BE PROCESSED?
To manage our job exchange, we will process data that includes the following categories:
• Identifying data (e. g. your name, surname, email, address, contact telephone number, etc. )
• Academic and professional data
• Job details (e. g. your profession and work history, references, etc. )
• Information about your interests and career preferences.
In addition, our systems may store connection and browsing data for technical, analytical and statistical purposes, in order to include enhancements to our platform to enhance the user experience. WHAT KIND OF DATA SHOULD YOU NOT PROVIDE?
In addition to the information contained in our form, you can use the "free text" field to tell us something else about yourself that you consider relevant to participate in a selection process. However, we ask you not to provide confidential or particularly sensitive information, such as: racial or ethnic origin, political, religious or philosophical ideology or beliefs, political party or trade union affiliation, physical or mental health, biometric data or genetic configuration, sexual orientation, criminal history, social security number or personal identification number.
If you provide us with this type of information, you accept your own responsibility for the potential risks to your privacy.
HOW ARE MY DATA OBTAINED?
The data we need to manage our job exchange is obtained from the information you provide us, directly or indirectly. For example, by using forms that allow you to sign up for an offer, or by sending us your resume.
If you have authorized a third party to provide us with your contact details, it will be this entity or person who must prove that you have authorized this communication.
HOW LONG WILL MY DATA BE KEPT?
We will retain your personal data so that you can participate in current or future job offers for a maximum period of 24 months from your last update or indication of interest. You can unsubscribe from our job exchange at any time, exercising your right of deletion or withdrawing your consent to remain on it.
Before the expiration of the period during which we keep your resume, we will inform you by email of the possibility of updating your data or renewing your consent. If you do not, we will understand that you wish to unsubscribe from our job exchange.
When your data is no longer required for its purpose, it will be destroyed or blocked (not used in any way). Having them blocked allows us to handle complaints and meet the responsibilities arising from the use we make of your personal data.
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE MY DATA?
The data required to register you on our job exchange are marked as mandatory (*). Failure to provide certain information marked as mandatory may mean that it is not possible to manage your application for our job offers or that we may not be able to contact you regarding our personnel selection processes. Any other data you provide to us will be optional and under your responsibility (see the section "What kind of data should you not provide?").

As we have previously informed you, the data will be communicated to companies belonging to the Térvalis Group that promote the recruitment processes.
